Inflect’s practices offer a blended approach that’s backed up by analytical research and academic rigour.
Bespoke advisory and co-design
Inflect is purpose-built to fit your situation, team and goals like a glove.
Maeve leverages management consultancy, advisory and co-design to define together what you need and why.
We’ll talk about what needs to be addressed and what to expect from each other.
We’ll discuss how you will turn up, and what it means to do the work for yourselves and your wider organisation.
Leadership development
At the core of Inflect’s offering sits high quality senior executive coaching. Focussed on working with the whole human, and where requested complimented by team coaching. There are a lot of ‘one-off workshop businesses’ out there. Inflect is not one of them. Maeve works with clients who are looking for actual, sustained change through effective self-development.

Questions people ask.
A holistic approach
“Helping the team/individual improve performance and the processes by which performance is achieved, through reflection and dialogue.”
Professor David Clutterbuck
Systemically focussed
“Systemic coaching works at the level of patterns of dialogue and movements. Understanding that change takes place every day, taking the view of the organisation as a whole [and the individual within it].”
Professor Peter Hawkins and Eve Turner
With a global outlook
“Reality is multifaceted, and various perspectives are interconnected. Coaching is an art. Global coaching juggles multiple perspectives and seamlessly links and integrates alternative world views to address challenges.”
Professor Philippe Rosinski
Inflect underpin her practises with a wide variety of thought leadership, ranging from organisational behaviour to psychology, philosophy, storytelling, anthropology, interculturalism, strategy and design thinking. Apart from supporting executive teams to perform well, Inflect always strive to keep people healthy and fulfilled.
What is Executive Coaching?
There are many great descriptions of executive coaching. Inflect likes to stand on the shoulders of giants so we have no need to improve on Julie Starr’s description which states “the activity of [executive] coaching brings together behaviours, techniques and methods that we know make a difference to the results a person is creating.
For example, during conversation, the coach use effective listening and questioning, they offer constructive challenge or observations and give helpful feedback. An effective coach facilitates discussions that increase an individual’s awareness, insight and available choice in a situation.”
What is Duo Coaching?
It’s a process in which two professionals are coached by the same executive coach with the aim to increase understanding, communication and performance. Assignments tend to include a combination of one-to-one and joint sessions.
Inflect uses duo coaching in a range of circumstances including but not limited to co-leadership coaching, transition coaching, co-founder coaching, pre-mediation coaching, conflict coaching and expat coaching.
What is Team Coaching?
Inflect embraces systemic team coaching which is a process described by Peter Hawkins as “working with the whole team, both when they are together and apart. The aim is to improve their collaboration, collective performance, stakeholder engagement, collective learning and increase the value they co-create with and for all their stakeholders.”
On a practical level, this can mean a lot of different type of engagements. It all starts with your goals and needs.
For remote work:
I’m an expert remote executive coach ( I worked remote 20 years ago already – when it was still called ‘working via the internet’ ;-))
For work in person:
In person work really does depend on your needs and the scope of the (international) programme of work.
I’m based in London (UK), but travel to mainland Europe often.
Inflect works with senior leaders, directors, entrepreneurs, founders, NEDs, expats, senior leadership teams, c-suite, distributed / hybrid teams, boards and regional leadership teams (EMEA/AMER/DACH/BENELUX).
Inflect is sector blind (I believe that people are people in the end ;-)), but most clients to date have come from tech, innovation, the creative industries, media, charities or the public sector. Most (regional) teams / organisations Inflect works with have between 75-500 employees.
Particularly well versed in working with multi-disciplinary executive teams who are looking to balance expert scientific, creative, academic, technical and/or medical excellence with commercial business builders.
Inflect doesn’t tend to take on assignments from organisations engaged in tobacco, oil or (un-empowered) adult entertainment.
No prisoners please…
Please also note that I don’t take on clients who don’t want to be coached. If you’re here because you want to send someone else to coaching to ‘make them change’, (i.e or else fire them) and the person in question is only doing the coaching to ‘save their job’ – then we’re probably not the right fit. Change comes from within, and for that reason – executive, duo and team coaching does require people to be able to ‘turn up’ for themselves and their wider community within an empowered and safe environment.
Exception to this is conflict coaching, where I do offer shorter term 4-6-8 week engagements to support in the preparation for specific, urgent difficult conversations or disputes.
Yes. There are many great reasons to explore and work on your own responses in a conflict. So please do reach out.
Please note that Inflect specialises in conflicts within interpersonal relationships at work.
I’m not the right fit for private/civil/couple counselling practise work.
This is a question that sometimes arises as part of team or conflict coaching work. The answer is: no, we will not be providing advice on hiring/firing. However, as part of team coaching we will provide observational feedback on the team functioning and behavioural patterns that occur.
I work with individual and team subscriptions for senior executive coaching, that come in blocks of 6 or 12 months.
Do reach out – we can jump on a needs and chemistry call (to see if we’re the right fit), and I’m happy to talk you through the subscription options.
